FILMFORUM and KINOGRAPHE invite you to participate in the 5th edition of Kinographe International Film Academy in Grenoble (France) between 19th - 26th May 2019.

The workshops will take place between 19th - 26th May 2019 in Grenoble (arrival in the city on 18th May). 
The Participants will be accommodated in the place of residence of the French Participants.

This year's workshops will be divided into four thematic zones:

-Visual storytelling - how to tell a story with images,
-Theatre - workshops with improvisation method - short film forms based on improvised exercises,
-Literature - adaptation of a contemporary novel or theatre play,
-Music - music as a source of film inspiration.

Each group will be composed of 15 people from different countries and will be supervised by cinema professionals (artistic and technical supervisors) specialised in each of the working methods.

Between 19th and 22nd May there will be 12 hours of theoretical MasterClasses and 8 hours of practical classes conducted by cinema professionals. At the same time, participants, together with their artistic and technical tutors, will work on short fictional forms, which will be produced between 23-25th May. The workshop will end with a public screening of the films made in the prestigious cinema Cinémathèque de Grenoble.

Knowledge of the French language is not required. The workshops will be conducted in English.

Admission to the Workshops is determined by a written confirmation received from the Organizers via e-mail. Information on qualification results can also be obtained by phone or mail after 10th April 2019.
